The Benefits of Acupuncture

The use of Acupuncture in China can be traced back at least 2500 years. It is based on the premise that there are patterns of energy (Qi) that flow through the body which are essential for health. Disruptions in the flow are believed to be responsible for disease. Acupuncture, through the use of thin needles may correct imbalances at identifiable points close to the skin. Acupuncture has been used by millions in the United States.
